Step into the golden light of an October afternoon and find yourself surrounded by stories; painted, layered, and alive.
This Rooted & Radiant salon features the evocative work of Leah Marchand, a Louisiana-born mixed media artist whose first language has always been art. Her pieces tell the stories of where we’ve been, what we love, and how we remember. In her hands, canvas becomes connection—between history and home, between past and presence.
As guests wander through a Garden District yard filled with southern charm and twilight shadows, they’ll discover Leah’s deeply personal “Leather Series” alongside other works that explore faith, memory, and place. Every brushstroke invites a sense of awe, wonder, and belonging.
“I love art that makes me feel connected,” Leah says. “Connected to my past, my home, and the things that I love.”
This gathering is a quiet celebration of that connection. An open house to linger, reflect, and meet the artist behind the beauty.
