The Core Values Quiz: What’s Driving You Right Now?

TL;DR: This 5-minute Core Values Quiz helps you notice which value energy is guiding your decisions right now—and how your Creative Adaptive Intelligence shows up when life gets loud. The goal isn’t balance. It’s integrity in motion.

Check in to see which value energy is steering the wheel.

A Creative Adaptive Intelligence Reflection Tool

This reflection is designed to surface values-based patterns, not measure traits or predict outcomes.

It isn’t about typing yourself. It’s about tuning yourself.

Because your Creative Adaptive Intelligence shifts with season, capacity, and clarity, this quiz simply helps you notice what’s present right now.

Creative Adaptive Intelligence is defined here.

How to Use This Quiz

As you move through each question, notice your first, honest response, not the “right” one. Choose what feels most true today, not what you wish were true.

When you finish, tally your answers to identify:

  • Your Primary Energy — the rhythm you return to most often

  • Your Supporting Energy — the one that steadies or balances you when your primary energy runs thin

Most people use this awareness to make small, high-quality adjustments, rather than major decisions. In practice, this often looks like adjusting pace, strengthening boundaries, shifting expectations, or choosing rest over urgency in a specific season.

Identifying Your Energy

Once you tally your answers, circle your top two letters.

  • The letter you chose most often reflects your Primary Energy — how you tend to move through decisions, stress, and creativity right now.

  • The second-highest reflects your Supporting Energy — the undercurrent that balances or restores you.

Your Primary Energy often feels familiar. It’s what shows up on autopilot, especially under pressure.

Your Supporting Energy often feels like relief. It’s what you crave when you’re tired, out of sync, or stretched too thin.

Examples:

  • If you lead with Momentum but crave stillness, your supporting energy may be Clarity.

  • If you lead with Adaptability but long for structure, your supporting energy may be Leadership.

  • If you lead with Leadership but miss play, Momentum may quietly balance you.

These aren’t labels. They’re rhythms. And rhythms change.

If your results are close, that’s meaningful. It often indicates adaptability and self-awareness rather than confusion.

The Energies, Described

Clarity Energy

You see depth and undercurrents others miss. When grounded, you move with discernment. When ungrounded, you overthink or hesitate.

Adaptability Energy

You tune into people and dynamics naturally. When grounded, you create harmony. When ungrounded, you over-accommodate and lose yourself.

Leadership Energy

You move best with direction and structure. When grounded, you lead with calm clarity. When ungrounded, you over-manage and forget to rest.

Momentum Energy

You generate ideas and initiate movement. When grounded, you inspire action. When ungrounded, you burn out mid-stride.

You’ve just named your current rhythm, not your identity.

Ask yourself:

  • Which energy is driving me right now?

  • Which one helps me return?

Both matter. One helps you move. The other helps you stay intact.

Your energy isn’t a label. It’s a rhythm.

And rhythms shift with season, capacity, and clarity.
